Commands of Christ

Acts 2:42 says of the early church, “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.” Some of that doctrine would surely have come from Jesus himself during their 3-1/2 years together. As a reference and a reminder of what our Savior wants from us, listed below are what are known as the Commands of Christ. Please consider them – “keep” them as it were – for Jesus said: “If you love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15). (Some people make a list of fifty commands and choose different verses to make up that list.)
